The Pearl of Greatest Price

Movie Project

Production Information

The Pearl of Greatest Price is a film being produced locally, in the San Angelo, Texas area, with a very unique approach to movie-making: The cast, crew, production team, and all supporting work, are drawn entirely from volunteers coming from the churches in San Angelo and the surrounding communities.

Working from the model established by Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia (the church that produced Flywheel, Facing The Giants, and Fireproof), Jamey Halfast has a vision: Get the entire community of churches involved, and show what we can accomplish! The strategy is deceptively simple: Make the best movie possible with the means at hand. This means that the more people and resources available to the production, the better the final product will be.

Anyone who is a believer, and who is a faithful member of a church in the San Angelo area is welcome to contact us to see if there is a position available for you. Fill out the Volunteer Information Form and get involved!
