Clara has a good thing going: She works with her two best friends - Jenny and Natalie - in a theft ring that spans the country.
Though they aren't rich yet, business is picking up.
When Clara visits a local jewelry store, she's introduced to the Concho Pearl - a rare, local fresh-water pearl -
and immediately falls in love with a very large and unique one. She's also introduced to Eli, a guy who finds these pearls as a hobby -
and happens to have found this one. Clara quickly forms a plan to steal this pearl, but not for resale: This one's for her.
She plans to lead Eli along in a relationship to get all her information and set up the job.
But it doesn't take long for her to find out that Eli is different; He's funny but respectful, caring, and thoughtful...
Common traits in many men, but rare for her to find them all in one guy. The more time she spends with him,
the more she begins to struggle with what she's doing. It even begins to disrupt her work -
putting herself in danger and at odds with her partners.
